Our Mission

We are Democrats of North Carolina who are committed to restoring dignity and full human rights of the Palestinian people. As Democrats we recognize that a Palestinian child born in Gaza has as much right as a Jewish-Israeli child born in Tel Aviv. We recognize that both Jewish-Israelis and Palestinians deserve equal measures of peace, security and opportunity to determine their own destiny without impinging on the rights of the other.

Conditions for Peace

• Ending the occupation. We call on Israel to end its brutal decades-long occupation of Palestinian lands since 1967 and free the Palestinians to chose their own destiny.

• Ending discriminatory laws in Israel. We call on Israel to repeal its discriminatory laws that specifically disadvantage non-Jewish citizens.

• Honoring the right of return. We call on Israel to respect the human rights of Palestinian refugees and honor their right to return to their homes which is specifically called for in United Nations General Assembly Resolution 194.
